Rose and Jack

So in love with Rose and Jack...

Few years ago,

saw a youtube link in facebook

trailer of Titanic 2

Was super happy and excited..

Within a few minutes,

found out that this trailer is

just a piece of work

edited by a Titanic fans.

Dissapointed...

=(

Anyway,

I love to watch movie star by Kate and Leonardo.

"The Reader"

which Kate won a lot of awards..

Kate Winslet cast the character of Hanna Schmitz,

had an affair with a mid teenager, Michael Berg,

and then disappeared.

Hanna has a very special hobby..

She always ask Michael to read for her.

and found it weird...

Michael became a lawyer and met Hanna again in the court.

She is one of the defendants in a war crimes from her actions

as a guard at Naziconcentration camp.

Michael realised that Hanna is keeping secret about

she's a illiteracy.

if this secret is revealed,

it can help her at the trial.

But she did not tell the judge about this.

She's ashame of being illiteracy.

Michael did not help her too.

He's ashame of having affairs with Hanna.

This secret is kept.

Hanna went into jail.

Michael continue his life with guilt.

As time flies,

Michael became a lawyer.

had a unhappy marriage and finally divorce.

Then he found out that he still miss Hanna.

He did a very romantic action.

He read the books and recorded it into a tape

and send to Hanna.

It was the first time Hanna received parcel

as she no longer have any relatives in the world.

She's so touched and happy.

She borrowed the book from library and started to learn to read.

And she wrote to Michael.

“Thanks for the letter kid. I really liked it."

Michael did not wrote back or visit her but continue to send her tapes.

One day,

he received call from prison officer.

Hanna will be release from prison.

(this is very shocking news because it should be whole life)

But still,

he finds her accomadation and job.

Then, visit her.

Hanna was so happy and dress up neatly to meet Michael.

But he remain distant.

Dissapointed her.

Actually he didn't mean to do that.

Just he was ashamed being close with an old , prisoned woman.

But on the release day,

Michael bring flower,

and plan to rebuild the relationship between Hanna.

Everything is too late.

Hanna hanged herself.

Everyone has things ashamed with.

This thing might be very tiny to others.

But it is very big to someone.

Hanna is willing to get whole life prisoned 

rather than admit herself as illiteracy.

Michael is willing to watch his loved one get prison

rather than admit his affair with old woman.

Hanna rather hang herself 

than face the world and facing the truth Michael not loving her anymore.

Michael lost his loved one once again,

just because he ashamed admit his love to her.

Either you are illiteracy?

Or you have affair with an old woman?

Actually no one cares...

Why bother what people will talk about you?

and finally 

live the life unwanted and unhappily..

then

regret whole life...

Titanic

My favourite movie

I remember that it was my standard 3 in primary school.

I was crazy over this movie.

My room was full of Titanic post cards, posters...

Everything I could have

key chains, cards, stationery...

were all Titanic...

I watched it over and over again.

and still crying when I watch...

I love this movie because

can see the differences between the poor and rich,

how the poor one enjoyed their life,

how the rich one dress up,

Pablo Picasso's paintings.

"You jump, I jump"

"I'm the king of the world"

The band continue to play as the ship went under,

an old couple embracing in bed as water pours into their cabin,

the third class passengers locked below the ship,

the mother sing lullaby for her children to calm them,

Captain Smith go into the bridge to await his fate.

Jack painted Roses

Not to mentioned about the love between

Jack and Rose.

Many people doubt the love of Rose to Jack,

if she really love Jack so much,

why she getting marry with others?

why she seems enjoying her life?

don't she sad and suffer for losing Jack?

Oh NO!!!

You're wrong...

Rose loves Jack.

very very much.

She getting marry, enjoyed her life is

because she loves Jack.

Weird??

Let us recall the part when Jack and Rose in the water.

"R: I love you, Jack.

J: No... don't say your goodbyes, Rose.

Don't you give up.

Don't do it.

R: I'm so cold.

J: You're going to get out of this..

You're going to go on and you're going to make babies

and watch them grow

and you're going to die an old lady,

warm in your bed.

Not here...

Not this night,

J: Rose, listen to me. 

Winning that tickets was the best thing that ever happened to me.

It brought me to you.

and I'm thankful, Rose.

I'm thankful.

no matter how hopeless..

Rose is living her promise to Jack for her entire life.

make babies, watch them grow, 

die as an old lady,

on warm bed.

She did it.

Before she dies,

the images of Jack and people who died on Titanic came into her mind,

Jack is reminding her their date,

but the clock

(did you see the time of the clock?)

Their date is 9 o'clock.

But the clock showed 2.15.

2.15 is the time Titanic sank.

So, Rose is going back to that time when the Titanic sank 

to meet with Jack and everyone.

All she wants for her entire life is

do what she promised Jack 

and meet him when she dies.

And when Rose is saved,

the immigration officer asked her, Name?

she answered, 

Dawson,

Rose Dawson.

(Jack's name is Jack Dawson,

she named herself after Jack)

and live as Jack's wife.

No matter the story of

Jack and Rose

or the old couple

Titanic is a romantic and lovely movie.

Think Different

Think different,

it is not "Think differently" makes the point.

This is the Apple 

"Think Different" commercial.

In the commercial:

"Here’s to the crazy ones.

The misfits.

The rebels.

The troublemakers.

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.

And also my feeling about Steve Jobs.

After get to know more about him, 

I disagree with his behaviour, actions and values, etc.

But I can't ignore him.

Because he changed the world.

He don't do market research,

because he thinks that 

"A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show them."

"Did Alexander Graham Bell do market research before he invented telephone?"

Busy reading this book

"Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson"

biography of Setve Jobs,

the founder of Apple.

over 600 pages...

More than half way I am now...

feel so happy!

Actually I'm addicted to this book.

The author-- Walter Isaacson

becomes someone I admire a lot.

What he wrote bring me into the Steve Job's life.

I can imagine and picture what was going on.

Steve Jobs' life is so dramatic!

It is more dramatic than "Gossip Girl".

lol...

It attracts me to continue reading and don't wanna sleep.

Share more after I finish reading.

Strongly recommand this book if you have time.

Audrey Hepburn,

favourite actress of Blair Waldorf (a character in Gossip Girl)

=)

Before knowing Blair likes Audrey,

I only heard of Roman Holiday and My Fair Lady of Audrey.

Heard but didn't watch before... lol.

After Gossip Girl's scene of Blair version of

"Breakfast at Tiffany's"

lol...

I wonder how's the real one...

Therefore,

I watched Audrey's play as below.

She's so beautiful....

Audrey Hepburn is not only has beautiful face,

But also has a very beautifully angel heart.

She contribute a lot for UNICEF.

She received food and medical relief right after World War II,

Therefore, she testify to what UNICEF means to children.

And She was appointed to be Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.

She made a series of UNICEF field trips to 

Ethiopia, Venezuela, Ecuador,

Guatemala, Honduras, El Salavdor,

Thailand, Sudan and etc...

Kind hearted people always look great.

Look at her angel's smile...

Coco Chanel

Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanel,

founder of my favourite brand- Chanel.

She is the only fashion designer named in

Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century.

Get to know more about her after I watched

"Coco Before Chanel".

French Movie: Coco avant Chanel

This movie changed my perpective to Chanel.

Before this, Chanel is a high end brand,

a symbol of taste and elegant.

But in the movie,

I found out that the founder was a singer in a bar,

she smoked, she drunk always.

Her nick name "Coco" is earned by singing the song

"Ko Ko Ri Ko" aka " Qui qu'a vu coco"

this is the song.

OMG!!

ruined the image and the idea of mine to the founder...

and the "Coco" series.

It is no longer elegant to me.

BUT

Chanel is now a "romantic"brand to me.

This is a brand represent "Love".

Unique love.

There's no pink or red,

There's no heart shape,

There's no words of "LOVE"

in this brand.

But the spirit of Chanel is love.

When all the women colourful dress with 'cancan',

wear hats with feathers...

Coco dare to be different.

She wear black and white,

with simple design.

Capel the most important man in Coco's life,

who believe her talent in fashion.

"There's no one else like you"

said Capel to Coco.

This is another word

which has same meaning to

"I love you".

When you are disagreed by the world,

the one who agree with you

must be

the one who love you the most.

Capel helped Coco to start her business.

When the business going well,

Capel passed away in car accident.

Coco continue with the "Chanel" business

as a reminder for her love to Capel.

Because this is the only thing they shared in their life.

Why the logo of Chanel is 2 cross over "C"?

It represents Capel and Coco.

This is what I guess...

lol..

Anyway,

It is a romantic guessing of mine...

If you ever receive a Chanel gift,

it means

the person is telling you that

"There's no one else like you".

aka

"I love you".
